God’s Plan for Salvation
1. God loves you and has a great plan for your life. Genesis 1:27 tells us He created you for a purpose: to have a personal relationship with Him.
2. Because of sin in your life, you are separated from God. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We are all sinners. The price for sin is death as stated in Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Death means we have eternal
separation from God.
3. The price for your sin is already paid! Romans 5:8 states, “But God
demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” God took care for our price of sin by allowing His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on a cross for us.
4. God’s salvation is free to us. Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us that God’s eternal salvation is a free gift. You can’t buy your way into heaven. It is totally free.
5. Jesus is the only answer. John 14:6 states, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” You can’t buy you way into heaven, nor will good works, morality, religion, or Bible knowledge get you into heaven. The only way to enter into heaven is through accepting the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
6. The Decision is up to you. No one can force you into making the decision to receive Christ’s salvation. If you choose not to receive His salvation you in turn reject Christ. If you want to receive Christ as your personal Savior and Lord then pray the following prayer:Jesus, I ask You into my heart to be my Savior and Lord, forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I thank You for dying on the cross and raising from the dead in order for me to receive this eternal life.
